Fileserver Troubles

Infonexus started crashing in earnest on 2010.12.17 causing a flurry of repair activities. At first the main drive appeared to be at fault, as windows was having difficulty finding the MBR. In addition, however, there appeared to be some power issues, as the computer would occasionally refuse to even post or show the BIOS. This eventually led to the removal of a particular cable which was specially soldered to allow more connections to the power supply than intended. Currently, the connections in this cable are suspect as the source of the fileserver issues, although the power supply itself is also under scrutiny as it might be under too much of a load or otherwise compromised by the events of the past few days.

- 2010.12.18 Main drive replaced and Windows reinstalled. No effect.
- 2010.12.19 BIOS flashed and upgraded. No effect.
- 2010.12.19 Cable removed, increased stability. [-Quee] [-Obegwan]
- 2010.12.20 Driver issues corrected, crashing appears to have ceased.

1) Need to get maindrive RMA'd
2) Need to get data from Obegwan
3) Need to get data from Quee
4) Need to add fans [Fileserver running hot @48-52 C on average]
